DeSoto High School helps students get ahead in their education by offering access to college courses and the potential to get an associate degree for free. Scholars are provided transportation, books, tuition, and course access led by college professors in a higher education environment.
Scholars and their families can save up to two years of college tuition costs by obtaining up to 60 college credit hours or an associate degree. Obtaining an associate degree can go towards completing a bachelor’s degree upon high school graduation. Students can also graduate high school with industry certifications.
The Early College High School Class of 2022 received more than $4 million in scholarships and more than 400 college acceptances. College attendees are more likely to outearn their peers, own a home, and land advanced careers with growth potential.
